Hakuba has just what it takes to blow your mind. Activities like hiking and exploring the surrounding nature in spring, summer and autumn, rafting down crystal clear rivers and climbing Happone Mountain and Tsugaike Highland can keep you entertained. Glamping comes from words "glamorous" and "camping".
This is a new outdoor leisure activity that is becoming popular all over the world, but Mominoki Hotel was the first in Nagano Prefecture that opened its own glamping.
Enjoy sitting in a living room tent and dining area surrounded by nature at the foot of Japanese Northern Alps. The glamping area has a fire pit, a tree house equipped with Wifi & AC outlet, an Onsen foot bath, hammocks and big tarps that provide shade. Enjoy your drinks around a camp fire with free marshmallows to toast and enjoy.

Mominoki Hotel's surroundings also boasts many tourist spots to visit.
Close by is the three Happo mountains and other peaks reflecting in the Happo lake, giving off a mysterious atmosphere.Various flowers grow in summer and a you can view a beautiful and clourful mountain in Autumn.
The main landmark here is Hakuba Alps Hanazanmai. It's slanting slopes provide plenty of flowers like dicentra - all in all around 150 types of alpine flowers spread out on the wide field.
There are around 2000 thousand lilies in this park - in summer you can take a kayak tour, see the fireflies and do other activities there.
In this Natural Park you can see a panoramic view of the three Hakuba peaks from the rope way.
An impressive 18-holes golf course overlooks the majestic Northern Alps of Japan and the lower plains of Azumino below.
Azumino Country Club offers a highly strategic golf course which utilizesthe natural terrain. The golf course is under the supervision ofgolf pro Ching-Po Chen.
