今日でゴールデンウィークあけましたが、

残念ながら、コロナとの戦いはまだ終わっていません。(´；ω；｀)

大変な状況の中で、

本日も医療に従事している方々、医療関係者の方々、

1人でも多くの命を救うために、休みなく、日々リスクと戦い、働いてくださりありがとうございます。

そして、本日から仕事復帰のため、外出をせざるを得ない職場の方々、自宅勤務される方々、アンド毎日毎日家族の世話をされるママさん達に

感謝と応援の気持ちを届けたいです。

いつもありがとうございます！今日も笑顔で頑張ってくださいね！

頑張っている皆様に出来ることなら、

Hi there! Natalia at Hakuba Mominoki Hotel here.

Among visitors from outside of Japan Hakuba is mostly famous for its ski resorts, but actually it has so much to offer off-season as well, I thought I’d tell you more about how it is like in other seasons. Here goes!

Spring. When you think of Japanese spring, the first thing to come to mind is cherry blossoms. Whilst Hakuba might not be the obvious choice for it, cherry trees bloom much later here compared to Tokyo area, so it’s a great place to enjoy it if you’ve missed it somewhere else. The best time to come is around the 20-25^th April, but even in the beginning of May there might be some left. Bear in mind though that it might get a bit busy during Golden Week. There might be not as many cherry blossom trees around here as in more famous areas, but where there are, it’s an amazing view with snow-peaked Japanese Alps.

Summer. There is so much to do here in summer – hiking, camping, mountain-biking, rafting, paddle boarding and canoeing on the lake, you name it. Most of the ski resort gondolas are open in summer-autumn season as well. Mountain trails are very well maintained and you do not need a guide to enjoy it, be it an easy half-day hike or a two-week trekking tour into the mountains. Mountain huts are located literally near every peak, so you do not even need a tent. On a hot day head to Aokiko lake for some paddle boarding – you can just plunge into the lake if you feel like it (surprisingly it’s not too cold for a lake of 60 meters deep!). In august it might get a bit busy, so I think the best time to come would be around mid-July, just after the rainy season. Beginning of September can also be a really good choice, as with the start of school in Japan, Hakuba becomes really quiet while it is still very warm and most of the activities are still running. There are also quite a few places in Hakuba where you can enjoy a magical sight of dancing fireflies at night (best from beginning to middle of July). By the way, we organize free firefly tours for our guests during this season.

Autumn. This is of course the season to enjoy stunning “koyo” – viewing of autumn leaves. Whilst most of the visitors come to Hakuba in October for it, in my opinion the beginning of November is still great to enjoy it. That is when the autumn colors descend all the way down to the base of the mountains and you can enjoy it just by walking around in the village. Some of the gondolas are still open till about November 5-10. If you are lucky you can even enjoy a view of “san-dan-koyo”, with snow-capped mountains, red and yellow foliage in the middle and trees still green at the base. The snow has been late these past couple of years, but fingers crossed!

Our hotel is planning to open in July and we have a glamping site, a tree house, BBQ site and an outdoor bar – please do not hesitate to visit even if you are not staying with us 😉

白馬樅の木ホテル　TOMOYA TANAKAです。

皆様、こんにちは。真夏のような暑さで山の雪もいっきに少なくなり、白馬の桜も散り始め　多くが葉桜に近い状態になりました。

人・車　ほとんど無く　こんなに寂しいGWははじめてで、

明るく前向きにと考えながらも、気付いたら後ろ向きになってしまう事も多いですね。

晴れた日は、混雑を避け　歩いて気持ちをリフレッシュ　！！！　です。

GWに合わせて、チューリップが咲いています。直接　ご覧いただけないのは残念ですが、緑がきれいな間に皆様とお会いできる事が叶いますように。( ^)o(^ )

こんにちは

ゴールデンウィーク２日目の今日、白馬村の最高気温は20℃です。

最近の白馬は晴れた日が続いて毎日家の中でできる事やお散歩をする毎日です。

この前周辺を散歩して松川から撮った写真を一緒にアップロードさせていただきます。

少しでも早く日常に戻れて皆様にお会いできますよう心からお待ちしています。

おはようございます。

白馬樅の木ホテル　ブログ担当の黒田です。

今年は4月に入ってから寒い日が続いたせいか、関東では桜の開花が最速と言っていたにも関わらず、長野県の北部はなかなか春らしくならず、この急激な気温の上昇でやっと春が来たかなという感じです。

自分は白馬村隣りの大町市在住なのですが、大町でも先週ぐらいにやっと桜のピークが来てそろそろ桜も終わろうかなと言う感じです。

我々ホテルスタッフも休業中のため自宅で自粛中なので、最近は近所を散歩しているのですが（三密を避けて）、小学校近くを歩いていると大町のゆるキャラ「おおまぴょん」デザインの道路標識を発見、思わず写真を撮りました。

普段、車では通らない道を歩いたりするので思わぬ発見があって楽しいですね。

おそらく各地域で標識だけでなくゆるキャラをデザインしたものが街中にあると思うので探して歩くのも楽しいかもしれませんね。

長野県内の観光はゴールデンウイーク期間中ほぼ自粛状態なので、みなさまもご自宅周辺でちょっとした楽しみを見つけるのも楽しいのではないでしょうか。

本来なら営業するはずだったゴールデンウイークのために準備したチューリップが綺麗に咲いています。自粛期間が終了するころにはチューリップをお見せする事はできませんが、そのころには登山シーズンが始まり雄大な白馬の景色をご覧いただく事が出来ますので、是非、白馬へ溜り溜まったものを発散しに遊びに来て下さい。
